ZOVAX 250MG TABLET contains Amoxicillin which belongs to a group of medicines called Penicillins. It is used to manage infections caused by bacteria in different parts of the body in affected individuals.
ZOVAX 250MG TABLET is also used in combination with other medicines to manage stomach ulcers in affected individuals. It is not recommended for use in patients allergic to amoxicillin, penicillin, and/or other antibiotics.
Before taking ZOVAX 250MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have glandular fever (viral infection caused by Epstein Barr Virus), are unable to urinate regularly, scheduled for urine, blood or oestriol tests, kidney problems, and/or liver problems (such as hepatic impairment).
ZOVAX 250MG TABLET should be used with caution during pregnancy and in breastfeeding women. ZOVAX 250MG TABLET should be used with caution in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and in elders (aged above 65 years).
The most common side effects of taking ZOVAX 250MG TABLET are skin rash, nausea, and/or diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsens.
