ZOCEF 750MG INJECTION is an antibiotic medicine used in the management of various bacterial infections such as infections of the respiratory tract, throat infections, skin infections, ear infections, sinus infections, lung infections, urinary tract infections, gynecological infections, blood infections, etc. It can also be used as a prophylactic therapy for reducing infection risks post-surgery.

It contains a medicine called Cefuroxime which is a powerful antibiotic agent that works by killing the susceptible organism that causes infection.

ZOCEF 750MG INJECTION should be used under medical supervision. Usually, it is prescribed for 7-10 days to attain better control on infection. Therefore, do not stop taking this medicine or skip doses, as it may make this medicine less effective.

Before receiving ZOCEF 750MG INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotics, have fungal infections, previously experienced anaemia or diarrhoea after taking antibiotics, scheduled for any blood tests, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

The most common side effect of receiving this medicine is pain at the injection site, swelling and redness. Consult your doctor immediately if any of the above symptoms worsen.
