ZEDOCEF O TABLET is a combination of Cefpodoxime and Ofloxacin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. ZEDOCEF O TABLET is used to manage mild to moderate bacterial infections such as acute otitis media, pharyngitis, and sinusitis.
ZEDOCEF O TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Cefpodoxime, Ofloxacin, and/other cephalosporin antibiotics (such as cephalexin). It is also not recommended for use in patients suffering from epilepsy.
Before taking ZEDOCEF O TABLET, inform your doctor if you have stomach/intestinal disease, blood clotting disorders, diarrhoea, kidney disease, and/or liver disease.
ZEDOCEF O TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy as it may cause harm to the foetus. It is also not recommended for use in breastfeeding women since it may pass through breast milk.
ZEDOCEF O TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 65 years) after consulting the doctor.
The most common side effects of taking ZEDOCEF O TABLET are stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, and/or pain in neck, lower legs. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects worsens.
