ZALOZIL 250 TABLET is used in the management of bacterial infections such as bronchitis, respiratory tract infections (such as pneumonia), sinusitis, urinary tract infections, skin infections, ear infections, tonsils, throat infections, etc. It contains Cefprozil which is a cephalosporin antibiotic which works by killing the susceptible bacteria that causes the infection.
Take ZALOZIL 250 TABLET as advised by your physician. It can be taken with or without meals. Do not skip doses or stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better, as it could make the medicine less effective against complete eradication of the infections.
Before taking ZALOZIL 250 TABLET inform your doctor if you are allergic to cephalosporin antibiotics, penicillins, cefdinir or similar medicines, have a previous history of developing severe diarrhea and stomach pain after taking antibiotics, are suffering from colitis, kidney problems, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
The most common side effects of taking ZALOZIL 250 TABLET are nausea, vomiting, headache and dizziness. Consult your doctor if they trouble you. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience severe stomach pain with blood diarrhea or fever, chills and flu-like symptoms after taking this medicine.
