XYLOMIST P NASAL DROPS contains Xylometazoline which belongs to the group of medicines called Nasal decongestants. It is used in children (aged between 1-11 years) to provide relief from nasal congestion caused due to common cold, sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses) or allergic rhinitis (an allergic condition).
Always use XYLOMIST P NASAL DROPS as directed by your physician. It is for intranasal use only. Do not use XYLOMIST P NASAL DROPS for more than 10 days to your child without consulting your doctor.
Before using XYLOMIST P NASAL DROPS inform your doctor if your child has heart problems or thyroid problems. You must also inform your doctor if your child has any other problems in the nasal tract apart from nasal congestion such as nasal inflammation, nasal dryness or any recent surgery in the nose.
XYLOMIST P NASAL DROPS should not be used in adults unless recommended by a doctor. The most common side effects of using XYLOMIST P NASAL DROPS are irritation or burning sensation after application and nasal dryness. Consult your doctor if they bother your child.
