Xtar Toothpaste

is an anti-calculus toothpaste which is used to manage dental calculus formation in children and adults who are prone to have heavy dental calculus formation. It contains Potassium pyrophosphate, Sodium Pyrophosphate and sodium Fluoride as active ingredients which manage formation of dental calculus.

Sodium Pyrophosphate and Potassium pyrophosphates acts as chelating agent which attracts calcium from saliva and forms complexes with saliva that are soluble and are rinsed with water. This manages binding of calcium to teeth and hence manages calculus formation. Sodium Fluoride in addition to pyrophosphates inhibit growth of caries causing bacteria and manages cavities.

Use Xtar toothpaste as directed by your doctor or after every meal twice daily. Brush thoroughly and avoid swallowing the toothpaste. While using this toothpaste for your child apply a pea sized toothpaste on brush and supervise brushing and rising to manage ingestion of toothpaste by your child. This toothpaste is for controlling calculus in calculus prone patients and not recommended for daily use. It is not recommended for use in children less than 2 years of age without consultation from doctor. Consult your doctor if you experience any side effects or allergic reaction after using Xtar toothpaste.
