XEMONT L TABLET is used in the management of signs and symptoms of allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, nasal itching, red, watery or itchy eyes, throat irritation, cough, headache and tiredness), chronic idiopathic urticaria (allergic skin reaction with red raised itchy bumps on skin) and bronchial asthma. It contains a combination of two medicines namely, Levocetirizine and Montelukast which effectively reduces the allergic reactions triggered in your body. Take XEMONT L TABLET under medical supervision. Usually, it is prescribed for 14-15 days or for more duration based on your health condition. Follow the dosing schedule appropriately to effectively control the triggers to allergic responses. Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking this medicine as it could make you feel drowsier. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, history of asthma, pregnant or breastfeeding as a precaution. It is ideal for use in adults and adolescents (aged 15 years or older). The most common side effects of taking XEMONT L TABLET are upper respiratory tract infection, fever, cough, inflammation of the pharynx, dryness of mouth, headache and sleepiness.
