VILCO NASAL DROPS A Nasal Spray is a Nasal decongestant used in adults and in adolescents (aged 12 years or above) to provide relief from nasal congestion caused due to common cold, sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses) or allergic rhinitis (an allergic condition).
It contains Oxymetazoline as the active ingredient. It works by narrowing down the blood vessels supplying the nasal passage. This helps swollen blood vessels of the nasal tract to return to its normal size which allows the air to pass through the nostrils more freely. It also reduces the excessive nasal secretions and provides temporary relief from nasal inflammation, swelling and discomfort.
Always use VILCO NASAL DROPS A Nasal Spray as directed by your physician. It is for intranasal use only. Do not use VILCO NASAL DROPS A Nasal Spray for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
Before using VILCO NASAL DROPS A Nasal Spray inform your doctor if you have diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, or any heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have any other problems in nasal tract apart from nasal congestion such as chronic nasal inflammation with very dry nasal passages (rhinitis sicca or atrophic rhinitis).
The most common side effects of using VILCO NASAL DROPS A Nasal Spray are irritation or burning sensation after application and nasal dryness. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.
