UNO 125 KIDS Suspension TASTY PLUM GRANNY FLAVOURED is used to manage mild to moderate pain, including headache, toothache, sore throat, aches and pains in children. It is also used for the reduction of fever and to be used as an adjunctive therapy to relieve symptoms of cold and flu. It contains Paracetamol as an active ingredient.
Paracetamol acts predominantly by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system (CNS) and, to a lesser extent, through a peripheral action by blocking pain impulse generation. The peripheral action may also be due to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis or to inhibition of the synthesis or actions of other substances that sensitize pain receptors to mechanical or chemical stimulation. Paracetamol produces antipyresis by acting centrally on the hypothalamic heat regulating center to produce peripheral vaso-dilation resulting in increased blood flow through the skin, sweating and heat loss. The central action probably involves inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the hypothalamus.
Administer UNO 125 KIDS Suspension to your child as instructed by your doctor. Shake well before use. It is for oral administration only. Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without consulting your doctor. UNO 125 KIDS Suspension is not recommended for use in babies under 2 months old. Do not give more than 4 doses of UNO 125 KIDS Suspension in any 24 hour period.
