TRICIUM PTH 750MCG INJECTION is used in both men and postmenopausal women with Osteoporosis who are at high risk for having fractures. It contains Teriparatide which belongs to the group of medicines called Anabolic agents. TRICIUM PTH 750MCG INJECTION works by causing the body to build new bone by increasing bone strength and bone mass density (BMD) (thickness) and reduce the risk of fractures by stimulating bone formation.
It also increases the thickness of bone and rebuilds bones which reduces the risk of spine and hip fractures. TRICIUM PTH 750MCG INJECTION is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. TRICIUM PTH 750MCG INJECTION is not recommended for use in patients with Paget’s disease, bone cancer or other cancers, certain bone diseases and hypercalcemia.
The most common side effects of TRICIUM PTH 750MCG INJECTION are dizziness, leg cramps, mild headache, tachycardia, hypercalcemia symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, constipation, low energy, or muscle weakness. Consult your doctor if any of the above side effects worsens or persists for a longer duration.
