TOVOK TABLET is a combination of
Diacerein, Glucosamine, and Methyl Sulfonyl Methane
which belongs to the group of medicines called proteoglycan synthesis stimulators and nutritional supplements, respectively. It is used in the management of osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is a condition that causes pain, swelling, and stiffness in the joints of the hands, knees, hips, and spine.
In osteoarthritis, the cartilage between the bones in the joint breaks down, which in turn causes the affected bones to slowly get bigger. The joint cartilage often breaks down because of mechanical stress or biochemical changes within the body, causing the bone underneath to fail.
