TAFNAT 25MG TABLET contains Tenofovir alafenamide which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-viral drugs. It is used to manage chronic (long-term) hepatitis B infection in adolescents and adults (aged 12 years and older). Hepatitis B is a virus that infects the liver, causes long-term infection, and can result in liver damage. It can show symptoms like easy tiredness, anxiety, lack of appetite, jaundice, fits and vomiting. Before taking TAFNAT 25MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney disease, hepatitis C or D (viral liver infection), HIV infection, intolerance to some sugars. TAFNAT 25MG TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women and it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Prior to the management, your doctor may want you to take several blood tests to understand your existing condition. During the management take precautions to avoid sexual contact and spreading the infection to others. TAFNAT 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children who are (younger than 12 years of age or weighing less than 35 kgs) and it should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above). The most common side effects of taking TAFNAT 25MG TABLET are headache, diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, joint pain, rash, itching and tiredness.
