STROCIT ORAL DROPS contains Citicoline which belongs to a group of medicines called Psychostimulants. STROCIT ORAL DROPS is used in adults to manage disturbances of consciousness that occurs due to head injuries, brain operation and acute cerebral infraction.
STROCIT ORAL DROPS is also used to manage cognitive dysfunction that occurs due to Alzheimer’s disease (brain disease that affects memory and thinking skills) and other cerebrovascular disease. It is also indicated for use in acute and recovery phase of cerebral infarction (condition that occurs due to poor blood supply to the brain) which is also used to manage Parkinson’s disease (age related degenerative brain condition).
STROCIT ORAL DROPS is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Citicoline. It is also not recommended for use in patients suffering from hypertonia (muscle overactivity).
Before taking STROCIT ORAL DROPS, inform your doctor if you are scheduled for any surgery and/or have kidney problems (such as renal insufficiency)/liver problems (such as hepatic insufficiency).
STROCIT ORAL DROPS should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if necessary. It is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 65 years) after consulting the doctor.
The most common side effects of taking STROCIT ORAL DROPS are nausea, vomiting, constipation, headache, low blood pressure and/or agitation. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsens.
