STRAMIPLA 40 INJECTION contains Triamcinolone which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is used to manage pain, swelling and stiffness in joints as seen in various disorders such as Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is also used to manage various allergic disorders such as asthma, hormonal problems, rheumatic fever and various disorders of the digestive system, skin, kidneys and lungs. STRAMIPLA 40 INJECTION is not recommended if you are diagnosed with any condition affecting the kidney, liver and thyroid gland or any infection, hypertension and heart failure. Before taking STRAMIPLA 40 INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have/had infection recently such as Tuberculosis (TB), diabetes, bowel surgery, stomach ulcer and/or a bowel disorder, inflamed veins or infection in legs, mental health disorder, epilepsy, any form of cancer, osteoporosis (thick and brittle bones, myasthenia gravis, glaucoma, have visual disturbances, loss of vision, inflammation of the retina (viral retinitis) or of eyes (red, bloodshot eyes) etc. STRAMIPLA 40 INJECTION is not recommended for use in children below 6 years of age. Also, pregnant and nursing women are recommended to inform the doctor about their pregnancy and breastfeeding status, before receiving STRAMIPLA 40 INJECTION. The most common side effects of taking STRAMIPLA 40 INJECTION are increased risk of infection, reaction at the site reaction, headache and pain in joints.
