Sorliv Solution is a hepatoprotective medicine used to improve appetite and liver function, manages hepatotoxicity, normalizes intestinal peristalsis movement and provides relief from constipation. It contains tricholine citrate and sorbitol as active ingredients to improve liver functioning.
Tricholine citrate binds to bile in gastrointestinal tract and removes bile acids from the body. The liver in turn produces more bile acid using cholesterol as a substrate. Sorbitol acts as a laxative to provide relief from constipation.
Always take Sorliv Solution as advised by your doctor. Shake well before use. Recommended dosage for adults is 10 ml (2 teaspoonful) twice daily before meals, for children 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) twice daily before meals and for infants 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoonful) twice daily before meals or as directed by the doctor. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its components.
