Octocrylene, octyl salicylate and butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane absorbs harmful UV rays protecting the skin from premature aging and long-term skin damage. Homosalate specifically absorbs short-wave UV-B rays, that are associated with DNA damage and potentiated risk of skin cancer.
