SEVISTA 60MG TABLET contains Ormeloxifene which belongs to the group of medicines called Selective estragon receptor modulators. SEVISTA 60MG TABLET is used in women of reproductive age groups to manage dysfunctional uterine bleeding which is a condition that occurs when normal cycle of menstruation gets disrupted.
SEVISTA 60MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Ormeloxifene. It is also not recommended for use in patients suffering from tuberculosis and/or chronic cervicitis/hyperplasia (inflammation of cervix).
Before taking SEVISTA 60MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have liver problems (such as jaundice, severe hepatic dysfunction) and/or kidney problems.
SEVISTA 60MG TABLET is generally not recommended for use during pregnancy since the medicine has contraceptive effects. If pregnancy occurs while in management with SEVISTA 60MG TABLET, then it should be discontinued. The medicine is advised to be used with caution in breastfeeding women as it may pass through breast milk.
SEVISTA 60MG TABLET is generally not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged 16 years and below). Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
The most common side effects of taking SEVISTA 60MG TABLET are acne (pimples), water retention and/or breast tenderness. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsen.
