Potassium nitrate is a desensitizing agent that blocks the exposed dentinal tubules (the tooth structure that is present next to the enamel layer), which are responsible for causing painful sensitivity. It builds protection against the sensitivity of teeth to stimuli such as heat, cold, acids, and sweets.
Always use SENSODENT K FAST RELIEF (TOOTHBRUSH FREE) Paste as advised by your dentist. It is for dental use only. Take the required quantity (approximately 2.5cm) of the paste in a soft bristle toothbrush and brush thoroughly twice a day or as recommended by the dentist. Do not swallow the toothpaste.
