SENSODENT K (CLOVE OIL) Dental cream is a foaming and non -fluoridated toothpaste which is indicated to provide relief from tooth sensitivity. It contains Potassium nitrate as active ingredient which works by exerting a desensitizing effect on the tooth ,thus builds increasing protection against painful sensitivity of the teeth.
Potassium nitrate is one of the major ingredients present in most of the desensitizing toothpastes. It acts by moving along the dentinal tubules where it blocks the action of dental nerve fibres which reduces the excitability of the tooth. Potassium nitrate can also interfere with the nerve impulses which decreases the nerve excitation, making the tooth less sensitive to stimuli.
Always use SENSODENT K (CLOVE OIL) Dental cream as directed by your physician. It is for dental use only. It is recommended to be used among adults and children aged 12 years or above.
