SCRABIC CREAM contains Permethrin which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-parasitic agents. It is indicated for the management of scabies, pediculosis (lice) and crab louse infections.
Scabies is a condition that cause itchy skin caused by a tiny burrowing mite called Sarcoptes scabiei. It can cause intense itching in the area where the mite burrows.
SCRABIC CREAM is not recommended for use in patients who are allergic to chrysanthemums (a flower). SCRABIC CREAM should be used with caution in patients having lung diseases and eczema (skin disease).
It is not recommended for use in infants below 2 months of age and should be used with caution in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
SCRABIC CREAM is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women. Consult with your doctor before using.
The most common side effects of using SCRABIC CREAM are itching, redness of skin, tingling, prickling, skin burning sensation and dry skin. Ask for your doctor’s advice if any of these worsen or persists for a longer duration.
