SATROGYL 300MG TABLET contains Satranidazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiamoebics. It is used to manage amoebic liver abscess which is a type of liver infection caused by Entamoeba histolytica (parasite) in affected individuals.
SATROGYL 300MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Satranidazole, Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking the medicine since it may cause nausea, vomiting, flushing, and/or dizziness.
SATROGYL 300MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. It should be used with caution in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients after consulting the doctor.
The most common side effects of taking SATROGYL 300MG TABLET are abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and/or headache. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsens.
