SALMOL 2.5 RESPULES is used to manage asthma in adults and children aged 4 to 11 years of age and breathing difficulties associated with reversible airway obstruction (Ex. chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). It contains Salbutamol , which belongs to the group of medicines called Bronchodilators, which relaxes the smooth muscles of the airways and widens them, making breathing easier. Asthma is a long-term respiratory disease in which your airways become inflamed, swollen, and narrowed. It also causes excessive mucous secretion in the airways, which makes it difficult for the air to pass through, leading to unpleasant symptoms like wheezing, difficulty breathing, chest pain, and/or coughing. SALMOL 2.5 RESPULES is suitable for use both in adults and in children (aged 4 years or older). Before using SALMOL 2.5 RESPULES, inform your doctor if you have diabetes, overactive thyroid functions, low blood potassium levels, high blood pressure, or any heart problems (such as angina or an irregular heartbeat) as a precaution. SALMOL 2.5 RESPULES should be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women only if it is considered necessary by the physician. The most common side effects of using SALMOL 2.5 RESPULES are tremors, headaches, mouth or throat irritation, and muscle cramps. Contact your doctor if any of these side effects worsen.
