RIOCORT 4MG TABLET contains Triamcinolone which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is used to reduce pain, inflammation and swelling associated with autoimmune skin disorders (Ex. contact dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, etc.) and joints disorders (Ex. rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis, osteoarthritis). It can also be used in the management of allergic rhinitis, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorders (COPD). It may also be used as an adjunct therapy for adrenal insufficiency. Take RIOCORT 4MG TABLET with meals to avoid stomach upset. Before taking RIOCORT 4MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have diabetes, hypertension, thyroid problems, muscle problems, intestinal diseases, fungal or viral infections, fits, osteoporosis or any mental illnesses as a precaution. Do not take RIOCORT 4MG TABLET without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of taking RIOCORT 4MG TABLET are stomach upset, vomiting, headache, dizziness, trouble sleeping, depression, acne, increased hair growth in the body and irregular or lack of menstrual periods. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects worsens. You must also inform your doctor if you experience any unusual weight gain during therapy with RIOCORT 4MG TABLET.
