REXIZOLE contains Clotrimazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungals. It is used in the management of skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, fungal intertrigo and fungal infections of the outer and middle ear. Ringworm is a fungal infection affecting the skin and causing redness and itching.
An athlete’s foot is a fungal infection affecting the spaces between the toes. Fungal intertrigo is inflammation caused by skin-to-skin friction in warm, moist areas of the body (groin, between folds of skin on the abdomen, under the breasts, arms or between toes)

Clotrimazole works by managing fungal growth by blocking the production of enzymes responsible for the growth of the fungal cell.
REXIZOLE is not recommended for use in patients allergic to this medicine. REXIZOLE should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women. The common side effects of REXIZOLE are itching, rash, blisters, burning, discomfort, swelling, irritation, redness and peeling of the skin. Consult your doctor if symptoms get worse or persist.
