Revofer 500mg Injection contains Ferric carboxymaltose which belongs to the group of medicines called Iron replacement medicines. It is used to correct iron deficiency anemia. Iron deficiency anaemia is a condition in which the body lacks enough amount of iron, which is essential for the transport of oxygen in the body.
Revofer 500mg Injection 10ml should be used under careful medical supervision. It will be given to you only by a doctor or a nurse into the vein as injection or infusion. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you based on your health condition.
Before receiving Revofer 500mg Injection inform your doctor if you have any liver problems or chronic kidney diseases. You must inform your doctor if you have asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, eczema or other allergies, any systemic infections, low levels of phosphate in the blood or high blood pressure as a precaution.
Revofer 500mg Injection is not recommended for use if you have anaemia not caused by iron deficiency, iron overload disorder or if you are allergic to ferric carboxymaltose or any other parenteral iron preparations.
Inform your doctor before receiving Revofer 500mg Injection 10ml if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as a precaution.
The most common side effects of receiving Revofer 500mg Injection 10ml may include headache, dizziness, flushing, high blood pressure, nausea and injection or infusion site reactions. Consult your physician if any of the symptom worsens.
