QUADRAJEL GEL is a combination of Chlorhexidine, Metronidazole and Lignocaine which belong to the groups of medicines called Antiseptic Antibacterial agents, Nitroimidazoles and Local Anesthetics, respectively. QUADRAJEL GEL is used to manage halitosis, gingivitis, oral stomatitis, pain due to mouth ulcers and food burns. It is also used to manage plaque growth on the teeth.

Halitosis is a condition that occurs due to trapped bacteria on the uneven microscopic surface of the tongue that produces odours, contributing to bad breath in an individual. Gingivitis is a form of gum disease that occurs due to poor hygiene and is generally characterised by symptoms such as swollen and receding gums.

Oral stomatitis is a condition characterised by painful swelling and sores inside the mouth that occur due to an infection, an allergic reaction or irritating foods. Mouth ulcers are small lesions that develop in your mouth or at the base of your gums, which make eating and drinking uncomfortable.

QUADRAJEL GEL is not recommended for use in patients who are allergic to chlorhexidine or metronidazole. lignocaine, methyl hydroxybenzoate, propyl hydroxybenzoate or para-aminobenzoic acid. Before applying QUADRAJEL GEL, inform your doctor if you have traumatised (injured) mucosa, sepsis (a life-threatening infection) in the application site, poor general health, severe liver disease and renal dysfunction and/or a partial or complete heart block.

QUADRAJEL GEL should be used with caution during pregnancy and only if necessary, in breastfeeding women. QUADRAJEL GEL is not recommended for use by children (below 12 years of age).
