PRADIL 150MG TABLET contains Propafenone which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-arrhythmic agents. It is used to slow down the heart rate and helps to regulate the heartbeat. It can be used to manage arrhythmias (abnormal heart rhythms).
PRADIL 150MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with chronic bronchitis or emphysema (known as COPD), Brugada syndrome (a heart rhythm disorder), heart failure, abnormally slow heartbeat, low blood pressure, a recent heart attack in the past 3 months. PRADIL 150MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with asthma, liver and kidney disease. Consult your doctor before taking it.
PRADIL 150MG TABLET should be used in pregnancy only if considered necessary. It is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it.
PRADIL 150MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children. It should be used with caution in elderly patients. Consult your doctor before taking it.
The most common side effects of taking PRADIL 150MG TABLET are dizziness, irregular heartbeat, heart palpitations. Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.
