PLANOKUF LS EXPECTORANT is used to control cough with mucus associated with common cold, flu, chronic bronchitis, asthma, etc. It contains Ambroxol, Guaiphenesin, and Levosalbutamol, which belong to the group of medicines called Mucolytics, Expectorants, and Bronchodilators. It lowers the phlegm thickness and makes it easier to cough out. It also relaxes the smooth muscle in the bronchial tubes, relieving shortness of breath or difficulty breathing. It is recommended to take PLANOKUF LS EXPECTORANT with food. PLANOKUF LS EXPECTORANT is not recommended for use if you are allergic to Ambroxol, Guaiphenesin, and Levosalbutamol, have heart disease, or are at risk of heart attack, thyrotoxicosis, hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, or porphyria (a blood disorder). Consult your doctor before taking it. PLANOKUF LS EXPECTORANT should not be used during the first trimester of pregnancy. Caution is advised when PLANOKUF LS EXPECTORANT is used during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. The most common side effects of taking PLANOKUF LS EXPECTORANT are nervousness and tremor, increased heart rate, palpitations, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nausea, vomiting, sweating, and muscle cramps.
