PICICLIB 125 CAPSULE contains Palbociclib which belongs to the group of medicines called Kinase inhibitors. It is used to manage men and women with certain types of breast cancer (hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative) which have spread beyond the original tumour or to other organs. Also, for women, it is given together with aromatase inhibitors or flustering who have received prior endocrine therapy.
In pre- or perimenopausal women, endocrine therapy should be combined with a luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) agonist. Breast cancer
is defined as a malignancy (abnormal cells divide without control and can invade nearby tissues) originating from breast tissue, with symptoms like a painless lump and swelling, redness, warmth, and hardening of the skin.
