PHENSEDYL CR SYRUP is a combination of Ambroxol, Guaiphenesin, Levocetirizine, Menthol which belongs to the group of medicines called Mucolytics, Expectorants, Antihistamines and Antitussives respectively. It is used to manage allergic cold, bronchitis, nasopharyngitis (common cold), bronchial asthma, allergic cough, and maxillary sinusitis. Bronchitis is the inflammation of lungs with symptoms of coughing up thickened mucus (phlegm) and difficulty to breath. Bronchial asthma has the symptoms of wheezing, chest tightness, excessive coughing, difficulty to breath. Maxillary sinusitis is an inflammation to sinus cavity by bacteria, virus, or fungi with symptoms of thick nasal discharge, nasal block, pain, and pressure around eyes. PHENSEDYL CR SYRUP is not recommended for use in patients who are pregnant, breast-feeding women, with severe kidney diseases and in children and adolescents below 12 years of age. PHENSEDYL CR SYRUP should be used with caution if you are having diabetes or following sodium-controlled diet. The most common side effects of PHENSEDYL CR SYRUP are dry mouth, tiredness, sedation, constipation, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, urinary discomfort.
