Pankreoflat Tablet is a formula that promotes digestion. It is used in relieving stomach tightness due to excessive gas or flatulence caused by swallowing air, indigestive disturbances, or pancreatic insufficiency.
It is also used in patients before the gastrointestinal and radiological examination. It contains pancreatin and activated dimethicone that relieves the symptoms of indigestion such as bloating or gas.
Pancreatin is a digestive enzyme that helps in the proper digestion of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Dimethicone acts as an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas through belching or flatus.
Take Pankreoflat Tablet as advised by the doctor. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water and do not crush or chew. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosage. It should be used with caution in patients having liver diseases. It is not recommended for use in patients having acute pancreatitis, acute exacerbation of the chronic pancreatic disease or have had gastrectomy.
