PANCREOTE 25000 CAPSULE contains Pancreatin which belongs to the group of medicines called Gastrointestinal agents. PANCREOTE 25000 CAPSULE is used to manage exocrine pancreatic enzyme insufficiency (deficient pancreatic enzyme) in affected individuals. It is also used to manage pancreatitis (swelling of pancreas), flatulence, cystic fibrosis (genetic disorder that affects lungs and digestive system), moderate indigestion in diabetes and irritable bowel syndrome (intestinal disorder). The medicine is also indicated for use as digestive aid, and in pancreas removal.

PANCREOTE 25000 CAPSULE is not recommended if you are allergic to Pancreatin. Before taking PANCREOTE 25000 CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have kidney problems (such as renal impairment), and/or liver problems (such as hepatic impairment). PANCREOTE 25000 CAPSULE should be used with caution during pregnancy and in women planning for pregnancy. It is safe to use in breastfeeding women.

The medicine should be used with caution in children & adolescents (aged below 18 years) and in elderly patients (aged above 65 years) after consulting the doctor. The most common side effects of taking PANCREOTE 25000 CAPSULE are stomach pain, bloating, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and/or constipation. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsen.
