OXYSPRAY SPRAY contains Oxymetazoline which belongs to the group of medicines called Nasal decongestants. It is used in adults and in adolescents (aged 12 years or above) to provide relief from nasal congestion, itching and discomfort caused due to common cold, sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses) or allergic rhinitis (an allergic condition).
Always use OXYSPRAY SPRAY as directed by your physician. It is for intranasal use only. Do not use OXYSPRAY SPRAY for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
Before using OXYSPRAY SPRAY inform your doctor if you have diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, or any heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have any other problems in nasal tract apart from nasal congestion such as chronic nasal inflammation with very dry nasal passages (rhinitis sicca or atrophic rhinitis).
Consult your doctor before using OXYSPRAY SPRAY if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of using OXYSPRAY SPRAY are irritation or burning sensation after application and nasal dryness. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.
