OVAGEN 50MG TABLET contains Clomiphene which belongs to the group of medicines called Ovulation Stimulators. It is used in the management of female infertility. It can promote ovulation (release of matured egg from the ovaries) in women who do not produce eggs and in women undergoing fertility managements. Prior to the management, your doctor may evaluate your fertility status thoroughly as a precaution. During management with OVAGEN 50MG TABLET, your doctor will closely monitor your health condition through several blood tests and ultrasounds to avoid the risk of side effects. Before taking OVAGEN 50MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any problems in your kidney or liver. You must also inform your doctor if you have fits, high blood fat levels, unexplained vaginal bleeding, early menopause, cyst in the ovaries or cancer in the breast, uterus or ovaries as a precaution. OVAGEN 50MG TABLET should not be used in pregnant women after successful conception. It is also not recommended for use in breastfeeding women and in children or adolescents (aged below 18 years). The most common side effects of taking OVAGEN 50MG TABLET are flushing, lower stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, painful periods, heavy bleeding, painful breasts and bloating.
