OTRIVIN ADULT NASAL SPRAY is used for symptomatic relief from nasal congestion caused due to allergies and common cold. It contains a medicine called xylometazoline which works by thinning the mucus present in the nasal tract.
Always use OTRIVIN ADULT NASAL SPRAY as directed by your physician. Gently instil 1-2 drops in each nostril, one or two times daily or as directed by the physician. It is for intranasal use only. Do not use OTRIVIN ADULT NASAL SPRAY for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
Before using OTRIVIN ADULT NASAL SPRAY inform your doctor if you have diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, or any heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have any other problems in nasal tract apart from nasal congestion such as chronic nasal inflammation with very dry nasal passages (rhinitis sicca or atrophic rhinitis).
The most common side effects of using OTRIVIN ADULT NASAL SPRAY are irritation or burning sensation after application and nasal dryness. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.
