OTOLEV EAR DROPS contains levofloxacin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. OTOLEV EAR DROPS is used to manage ear infections (caused by susceptible organisms) which includes otitis externa, acute and chronic otitis media (middle ear infection).
It is also used in the prophylaxis of infectious ear infections (before and after surgery) which is also used to manage ear traumas. The medicine is also indicated for use to extract the foreign body from external auditory meatus associated with ear tissue damage in affected individuals.
OTOLEV EAR DROPS is not recommended for use in patients allergic to levofloxacin, and/or other quinolone antibiotics.
Before using OTOLEV EAR DROPS, inform your doctor if you use contact lenses.
OTOLEV EAR DROPS should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if it is clearly necessary. The medicine is recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged 1 to 18 years). Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
The most common side effects after using OTOLEV EAR DROPS are headache, and dizziness. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsen.
