ORITAXIM O 50MG TABLET contains Cefixime, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, sinus, respiratory tract (bronchus, lungs), urinary tract, biliary tract, and genital tract. It can also be used in the management of typhoid fever.
A bacterial infection can be defined as a proliferation of various harmful strains of bacteria in the body. They can affect any part(s) of the body, including the respiratory tract, urinary tract, reproductive tract, eyes, ears, skin, soft tissue, or bones.
Take ORITAXIM O 50MG TABLET for the stipulated duration instructed by your doctor even if you feel better during the midway of the therapy to achieve better results. Failing to complete the full course of the therapy or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in adequate infection control.
ORITAXIM O 50MG TABLET is suitable for use both in adults and in children aged 10 years or older. However, consult your doctor for advice before taking it.
