OPTIFLEV EYE DROPS is a combination of Flurbiprofen and Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) which belongs to the group of medicines called NSAIDs and Eye lubricants. It is used to manage narrowing of pupil (black hole on the centre of the eye) during eye surgery (cataract removal) and post-surgical inflammation of eyes.
OPTIFLEV EYE DROPS is also used to manage Pseudophakic Cystoid macular edema (swelling of part of eye called macula with fluid due to complication of cataract surgery), eye pain associated with surgery and Post operative dry eye.
OPTIFLEV EYE DROPS is not recommended for use if you have viral eye infection or have a tendency to bleed. Contact your doctor before using it.
OPTIFLEV EYE DROPS is not recommended for use in third trimester of pregnancy and inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding before using this medicine.
The most common side effects of using OPTIFLEV EYE DROPS are burning or stinging sensations, eye irritation or discomfort. Contact your physician if any of the symptoms worsen.
