Nusam 400mg Tablet is a dietary supplement containing S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine. S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine is a naturally occurring compound found in almost all the tissues and fluids in the body. It is used for conditions such as alcoholic liver disease, liver cirrhosis, hepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma.
S-Adenosyl-L-methionine exerts many key functions in the liver, including serving as a precursor for cysteine and 1 of 3 amino acids of glutathione (the major physiologic defense mechanism against oxidative stress). It also acts as the main methylating agent in the liver.
Always take Nusam 400mg Tablet as advised by your physician. Swallow the tablet with water. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Do not take if you are allergic to S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine.
