It is used to manage bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, genital tract, skin and soft tissues, stomach, biliary tract, blood and the brain. It can also be used in combination with other antibiotics to manage fever among patients who have low white blood cells in the body.
NOVAPIME 500MG INJECTION should be under careful medical supervision. It is suitable for use both in adults and in children (who weigh more than 40kg). Therapy with NOVAPIME 500MG INJECTION should be continued for the stipulated duration as instructed by your doctor to achieve better results. Failing to complete the full course of the therapy or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in adequate infection control.
Before receiving NOVAPIME 500MG INJECTION inform your doctor if you have a history of asthma or allergic conditions (such as hay fever). The most common side effects of receiving NOVAPIME 500MG INJECTION are diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, anemia, pain and swelling at the site of injection, fungal infection in the mouth and stomach pain. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.
