NEOPRIDE MPS TABLET is a combination of Levosulpiride and Activated Dimethicone which belongs to the group of medicines called Antidyspeptics and Antiflatulents respectively. It is used in the management of gastro-intestinal problems like functional dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, bloating and fullness.
Before taking NEOPRIDE MPS TABLET inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, cardiac insufficiency, epilepsy, history of cerebrovascular events including risk factors for stroke or venous thromboembolism, pheochromocytoma, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, mechanical obstruction or perforation, manic conditions and breast cancer.
Avoid consumption of alcohol during management with this medicine due to increased risk of sedation effect. NEOPRIDE MPS TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Safety and effectiveness of NEOPRIDE MPS TABLET in children below 14 years of age has not been established yet. It should be used with caution in elderly patients with kidney impairment and due to increased risk of postural hypotension, sedation and extrapyramidal effects.
The most common side effects of taking NEOPRIDE MPS TABLET are headache, tiredness, drowsiness and constipation. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
