MYPRED 1000MG INJECTION is used to manage various adrenal gland problems, including adrenal insufficiency, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, and nonsuppurative thyroiditis. It is also effective in managing autoimmune and inflammatory conditions affecting different parts of the body, such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriasis, optic neuritis, uveitis, asthma, and certain blood disorders like leukemia. Additionally, it helps manage inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, as well as tuberculous meningitis in the brain. This medication is also prescribed for managing severe allergic reactions, including drug-induced hypersensitivity, atopic dermatitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and allergic rhinitis. It can prevent graft rejection after organ transplantation and support kidney health by reducing protein loss in the urine or increasing urine output in conditions like nephrotic syndrome. It contains Methylprednisolone which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. Before receiving MYPRED 1000MG INJECTION inform your doctor if you any viral infections, or any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have hypertension, diabetes, thyroid deficiency, glaucoma, skin problem, gut inflammation, muscle problems, osteoporosis, any types of tumors or cancer in the body, depression or any other forms of mental illness. MYPRED 1000MG INJECTION is not recommended for use in patients with severe fungal infections, brain swelling due to malaria, or brain injury or stroke. It should be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women only if it is considered necessary by the physician. Avoid drinking grapefruit juice or eating grapefruit while receiving MYPRED 1000MG INJECTION as it may lead to unwanted side effects.
