MYMIFER TABLET is combination of Elemental Iron, Zinc Sulphate, and Folic Acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Minerals and Vitamins respectively. It is used to manage anaemia due to iron deficiency, pregnancy, chronic blood loss, chronic illness, and loss of appetite. It is used as supplemental therapy in lactating mothers. It is also used to manage weakness and lack of concentration.

Anaemia is a condition in which there is deficiency of healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to the body's tissues. It is characterized by symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, yellowish skin, irregular heartbeats, and shortness of breath.

MYMIFER TABLET is not recommended for use if you are allergic to folic acid. It is also not recommended in patients with hemochromatosis (excess storage of iron in organs such as the liver and heart), ulcers in the stomach, regional enteritis (inflammation of the intestines), ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the intestines with ulcers), hemosiderosis (excess accumulation of iron in body tissues), and haemolytic anaemia (anaemia due to excess break down of red blood cells).

MYMIFER TABLET should be used with caution in patients with chronic kidney disease. MYMIFER TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women. It should be used with caution in children, adolescents (below 19 years), and elderly patients (aged 65 years or above).

The common side effects associated with the use of MYMIFER TABLET are nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea, flatulence, a metallic taste, staining of the teeth, and pain or discomfort below the ribs. Contact your doctor or a nearby hospital if any of the conditions worsen.
