MYCOSPRAY SOLUTION is used in the management of various fungal infections such as tinea pedis (fungal infection between the toes), tinea cruris (red and itchy rash in the warm and moist areas of the body), and tinea corporis (ringworm fungal infection). Fungal infections can be contagious and spread from one person to another.
It contains a medicine called
Luliconazole
, which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical Antifungal Agents. It works by inhibiting the growth of the fungus that causes these infections.
MYCOSPRAY SOLUTION is not recommended for use among women who are pregnant and breastfeeding unless considered clearly necessary. It is not recommended for use in children 12 years of age and below unless clearly necessary. MYCOSPRAY SOLUTION should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years or above).
Avoid applying MYCOSPRAY SOLUTION on the eyes, mouth, or vaginal region. The most common side effects of this medicine are application site reactions such as irritation, itching, and stinging. Contact your physician if any of the symptoms worsen.
