MUCORID SYRUP is a combination of Bromhexine, Guaiphenesin, Terbutaline, and Menthol which belongs to the group of medicines called Mucolytics, Expectorants, Bronchodilators, and Soothing agents respectively. It is used to manage cough associated with bronchitis, asthma, emphysema, smoker’s cough, whooping cough, smokers dry cough and post-surgical cough. A cough is a reflex action to clear your airways of mucus and irritants like dust or smoke. MUCORID SYRUP is not recommended for use in children (younger than 6 years of age) so consult your doctor before taking it. Before taking MUCORID SYRUP, inform your doctor if you have any allergies or other conditions, or if you are taking any other medicines. MUCORID SYRUP should be used in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if considered necessary by your doctor. The most common side effects of taking MUCORID SYRUP are nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, diarrhea, dizziness, or headache. Contact your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen.
