MOXIBOW EYE/EAR DROPS contains Moxifloxacin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used for the management of infections of the eye (bacterial conjunctivitis) and ear.
Bacterial conjunctivitis is the infection of the transparent membrane (conjunctiva) that lines the eyelid and covers the white part of your eyeball. Symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis include pain, discomfort, redness, itching, irritation, and watering of the eyes.
Patients should be advised not to wear contact lenses if they have signs and symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis in the eye.
MOXIBOW EYE/EAR DROPS should be used with caution in pregnant women or if you think you may be pregnant and in breastfeeding woman. Consult your doctor before using.
MOXIBOW EYE/EAR DROPS is not recommended for use in the newborn and it should be used with caution in children and adolescents. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your child’s age and body weight.
MOXIBOW EYE/EAR DROPS should be used with caution in elderly patients of above 65 years of age. The common side effects are eye/ear pain or irritation. Consult your doctor if the symptom does not improve.
