MOSI EYE OINTMENT contains Moxifloxacin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used for the management of bacterial conjunctivitis.
Bacterial conjunctivitis is the infection of the transparent membrane (conjunctiva) that lines the eyelid and covers the white part of your eyeball. Symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis include pain, discomfort, redness, itching, irritation, and watery eyes.
Patients should be advised not to wear contact lenses if they have signs and symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis.
MOSI EYE OINTMENT should be used with caution in pregnant women or if you think you may be pregnant and in breastfeeding woman. Consult your doctor before using.
The safety and effectiveness of MOSI EYE OINTMENT in infants below 1 year of age have not been established. Consult your doctor for advice before using this medicine.
MOSI EYE OINTMENT should be used with caution in elderly patients of above 65 years of age. The common side effects are eye pain or irritation. Consult your doctor if the symptom does not improve.
