MONODEXA EYE DROPS contains Dexamethasone which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is used to manage eye/ear inflammation. It also helps in reducing pain, redness, itching and burning sensation in the eyes or ears caused due to allergic or hypersensitivity reactions.
Use this medicine exactly as instructed by your physician. It is topical use only. Misuse or overuse of this medicine may lead to unwanted side effects. If there is no improvement in your condition even after using this medicine for 7 days, consult your doctor for advice.
If you wear soft contact lenses, remove the lens before applying MONODEXA EYE DROPS and wait for at least 15 minutes before reinsertion.
Before using MONODEXA EYE DROPS inform your doctor if you have any bacterial infections in the eye. You must also inform your doctor if you have any viral or fungal infections in your body or have glaucoma or any holes or ulcerations in the eyes as a precaution.
Do not use MONODEXA EYE DROPS without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of using MONODEXA EYE DROPS are mild irritation, discomfort or burning sensation at the application site and increased eye pressure. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.
