MODIN 2.5MG TABLET contains Procyclidine which belongs to the group of medicines called Anticholinergics. It is used to relieve and manage the signs of Parkinson's disease such as stiff muscles, paralysis, shaking of hands (tremors), trouble talking, writing and walking, producing too much saliva and dribbling, sweating, uncontrolled eye movements and depression.
MODIN 2.5MG TABLET is also used to control extrapyramidal effects caused by certain medicines used to manage mental health conditions, which might include restlessness and unusual head and body movements.
MODIN 2.5MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you have tardive dyskinesia (uncontrolled movements of the head or tongue). Consult your doctor before taking it.
MODIN 2.5MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver, kidney disease, high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, thyrotoxicosis. Consult your doctor before taking it.
MODIN 2.5MG TABLET should be used during pregnancy only if it is considered clearly necessary. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding before taking it.
MODIN 2.5MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents. MODIN 2.5MG TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients. The most common side effects of taking MODIN 2.5MG TABLET are dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation and difficulty urinating. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.
