MEROBAX 125MG INJECTION contains Meropenem which belongs to the group of medicines known as Antibiotics. It is used to manage various bacterial infections such as pneumonia (including community acquired pneumonia and nosocomial pneumonia), urinary tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, gynaecological infections such as endometritis and pelvic inflammatory disease, skin and skin structure infections, meningitis and septicaemia. It is also indicated for empiric management, for presumed infections in adult patients with febrile neutropenia, used as monotherapy or in combination with anti-viral or anti-fungal agents. MEROBAX 125MG INJECTION is also used in the management of neutropenic patients with fever that is suspected to be due to a bacterial infection and bacterial infection of the blood.
During the management, your doctor may do blood tests from time to time. MEROBAX 125MG INJECTION should be used with caution in patients with liver problems, kidney problems, and diarrhea. MEROBAX 125MG INJECTION is generally not recommended in patients with gastrointestinal problems and hypersensitivity reactions. Consult your doctor before receiving if you are pregnant or breastfeeding women.
MEROBAX 125MG INJECTION should be used with caution in children over 3 months old and in geriatric patients. The common side effects of MEROBAX 125MG INJECTION are abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, skin rash, itchy skin, pain, and inflammation.
